Export jQuery datatable to Excel, PDF and CSV file

To export your jQuery datatable into Excel (*.xlsx) and Comma Separated Values (CSV) files, just follow these simple steps!
Prerequisites JS Libraries
You'll need to add these JS libraries to your HTML before < body ∕ >tag:
- jQuery
- jQuery DataTable Library
- Buttons extension for jQuery DataTables
- JSZip library (for exporting to Excel)
Add the following code snippet to your HTML file:
Your HTML Table
To export your data table, put it in the HTML with a selector (ID or CLASS) for later reference.

jQuery Datatable initialization
Initialize the DataTable on your table, and include the necessary buttons for exporting:

Customization
In addition to the script mentioned above, you can also include the "customize" option for the Excel button. This way, you can choose a different file format, like CSV, if you want. So go ahead and make it your own!

Please note: If you're running on an Apache server, just add the following line to your .htaccess file.
AddType application/vnd.ms-excel .xlsx
To export data to Excel, it might be necessary to include a MIME type on your server. It is important to ensure that the appropriate MIME type is configured to facilitate seamless exporting to Excel.
